The 22nd International Summer School 2016 will be held on the 17th - 23rd July 2016 at the European/International Joint PhD in Social Representations & Communication.

It will be focussed on The “methodological polytheism in the Social Representations literature and its implication in the contemporary communication era: distinctiveness and dialogue between multiple research methods (textual and image-based research sources and tools, traditional and new media-based research design, experimental and field oriented studies).

The last detailed version of the scientific programme hasn't been defined yet, but the following professors have already confirmed their participation: Ivana Markova (University of Stirling, UK), Sylvain Lassarre (IFSTTAR, France), Martha De Alba (Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana, Mexico), Gina Philogene (CUNY Graduate School, USA), Mieko Yoshihama (University of Michigan, USA),Emanuele Fino (University of Sheffield, UK), and Bruno Mazzara, Giovanna Leone and Annamaria de Rosa from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy.

As in the previous events, this 22nd edition of the International Summer School will integrate face-to-face and on-line communication. Therefore, in addition to the restricted number of the participants who will attend the event at the European/International Joint PhD in S.R. & C. Research Centre and Multi-media Lab in Rome, the participation of other selected applicants will be possible from any worldwide location via an interactive web-conference system (a specific basic and advanced training will be offered at the beginning of the event).
